8 Tips to Control Diabetes!
Naturally, we all need glucose in our blood as it serves as our source of energy, and it comes from the food that we eat. However, too much of everything is bad, like how too high blood glucose or sugar might bring a disease commonly known as Diabetes.
Diabetes is happens when our pancreas are having a hard time producing enough insulin, or no longer able to create one, or in other cases they still produce but our bodies themselves cannot make good use of them.
Here are some useful tips to manage diabetes:
1. Drink Plenty of Water
Keep yourself hydrated by drinking at least 8-10 glasses of water a day. This will help in eliminating all your body waste thoroughly. Kidney malfunctions are often associated with dehydration, so a lot of fluid intake plays a vital role to maintain a healthy body.
Drinking plenty of water also helps in stabilizing your blood sugar. Avoid too much consumption of juice and soft drinks as these are high in sugar content.
It is recommended to take lukewarm water instead of iced water since cold water might irritate your stomach muscles.
Reduce water intake if you are suffering from heart diseases, has fluid in the lungs, or has episodes of bloating.
