“We signed bilateral cooperation agreements on peaceful use of energy, scientific research, health, culture and foreign policy consultation. These areas are important and part of our comprehensive road map to build partnership with a friend and to secure the Philippines’ strategic interest,” sabi ni Pangulong Duterte.

“We reaffirmed the Philippines strong commitment to a robust and comprehensive partnership with the Russian Federation on the basis of mutual respect, trust and pragmatism,” saad ng Presidente.

“There are several ways to develop the nuclear energy industry in the Philippines, to reboot the existing power plant, which has been mothballed and the Filipinos keep it in a very acceptable condition or to build another station, but also of a large capacity… A more interesting approach, which we also proposed to our friends, are small-capacity nuclear plants, including floating ones,” sabi naman ni Russia’s state nuclear corporation Rosatom chief executive officer Alexei Likhachev.
