Gov.

Dakilang Manloloko”.

“FYI. Tarpaulins such as these have been taken down in Bacoor. Please continue to report. Cavite is an insurgency-free province so no need for unnecessary propaganda. Focus should be on pandemic efforts, economic recovery, education, connectivity etc.

“I’m just a spokesperson of the NTF-ELCAC (National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict), incidentally, I’m also the commander of Southern Luzon, area ko ang Cavite… Why not call me and ask about those things? Why accuse me? So that’s not fair, sa Facebook wall niya pa at tine-threaten niya ako, na ‘pag ako ang naglagay niyan, he will make sure na ipapatanggal niya yan… That’s not right to accuse me of putting those… Hindi ako duwag. Kung ako magpapalagay ng tarpaulin diyan, I’ll make sure my name is on there, my office logo is there,” buwelta ni Lt. General Parlade.

“As to the action of [Manila] Mayor Isko Moreno, he must have his own reasons, but I would encourage LCEs to allow it. As I said, these tarpaulins are peaceful expressions of our people… I believe that these tarpaulins are expressions or manifestations of citizens or certain groups that they are already fed up with abuses and atrocities perpetrated by the CPP/NPA/NDF. I welcome such kind of expression to send the message to the [members] of CPP/NPA/NDF that they are not welcome in the national capital region, just like the constituents of other provinces, cities, and municipalities all over the country did… It’s time for the communist rebels to go back to the fold of the law and start peaceful and productive life,” paliwanag naman ni DILG Sec. Eduardo Año.
