“Using Police Uniform as Holloween Costume?? Please be reminded that Illegal use of uniform or insignia is punishable under the law. Any person who shall publicly and improperly make use of insignia, uniforms or dress pertaining to an office not held by such person or to a class or persons of which he is not a member is punishable by prision mayor in its maximum under Article 179, RPC.” sabi ni Geurero.

“I am just wondering what exactly came into your mind to wear our uniform as a Halloween costume?

To draw flak online and seek attention in the social media?

You have no idea how much blood and sweat we’ve shed to wear that uniform. Some of our brothers even died just to wear that uniform.

Now that you have our attention, I want you to know that your stupidity insulted not just me (PNP personnel) but the entire PNP organization as well as their own families.

I want you to know Mr. De Veyra that many of our fallen brothers died wearing your “costume” in the line of duty.

You disrespectful, insolent piece of -“ buweltani Padilla.

“Provided, That the foregoing shall not be construed as prohibiting any person from using or wearing any military or naval insignia, badge or emblem of rank in any play-house or theater or in moving-picture films while actually engaged in representing therein a military or naval character not tending to bring discredit or reproach upon the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Philippine Constabulary or the Bureau of Coast and Geodetic Survey,” sabi sa batas.
