“I would commend the organizers despite the budget delay and even with the slashing of the SEA Games budget by Senator Drilon amounting to P2.5 billion; we stand ready in showcasing to the world and people our culture and our talents,” banat ni Congressman Salo.

“Curiously, however, simultaneous with the P2.5 billion slashed in the SEA Games budget, is the increase in the budget of the various infrastructure projects in Iloilo, by P2.3 billion,” sabi pa ni Congressman Salo.

“It is a complete lie. Mr. Salo is a blabbermouth and a purveyor of fake news… A cursory check of the records would disprove the allegations made by Mr. Salo and other members of the House of Representatives today,” boladas ni Drilon.

Si Drilon ay sinisisi rin nila House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano at Deputy Speaker Mikee Romero sa aberyang nangyari sa SEA Games.

“Unfortunately the Senate had a lot of problems and na-delay ng 5 to 6 months yung budget. Lahat to was caused by that delay. Sen. Drilon is also partly to blame probably because the delay was caused on their side, not on the House side,” sabi ni Deputy Speaker Romero.

“Tama ‘yung sinabi ni Deputy Speaker Mikee Romero, it was Senator Drilon who moved the budget of the SEA Games to the PSC (Philippine Sports Commission) and it was (him) who proposed cutting it by 33 percent,” ayon naman kay House Speaker Cayetano.
