STL- How to Play?
Four state-run local lotteries also known as Small Town Lottery (STL) are being held by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). The primary goal of these lotteries is to generate additional Government funds for health programs and local businesses promotion.
In the Philippines, the areas of operations of STL are grouped into the following parts of the country: the Northern and Central Luzon Region (NCL), Southern Tagalog and Bicol Region (STBR), Visayas Region (Vis), Mindanao Region (Min) and the National Capital Region (NCR).
STL Pares
To play this game, the player chooses 2 numbers from 1-40 and pays for his chosen bet. The first number will be drawn the machine, followed by the second number after the machine is restarted. Bettor wins if he gets the numbers in exact order.
The actual draw for this game is aired at the official pages of STL Visayas and Mindanao.
STL Swer3
In this game, the player chooses 3 numbers from 0 to 9 of the three (3) column- panel and pays the corresponding bet. A 3-chambered machine will determine the winning numbers. The player should get the numbers in exact order to be deemed winner.
STL Swer2
The player in this game picks 2 numbers from 0 to 9 of the two (2) column-panel and pays for his chosen bet. The winning digits are determined by a 2-chambered machine and should the player get the numbers in exact order, he will be announced as the winner.
STL Swer4
To play this game, bettor chooses 4 numbers from 0-9 of the 4-column panel and pays the corresponding bet. Like the other digit games, the numbers should be in exact order for a player to be announced as a winner.
The draw is exclusive to Mindanao area only and is held daily at 8:00PM
WHAT TO DO: RULES AND REMINDERS FOR PCSO LOTTO PLAYERS
Before trying your luck in playing PCSO Lotto games, it is important to know certain rules and guidelines that should be followed by a hopeful bettor upon buying any PCSO lotto ticket. Below are some of the tips:
1.Only bettors who are of legal age (18 years old and above) are allowed to buy and play any PCSO lotto ticket. This rule is also applicable to winners who would claim their prizes.
2. PCSO lotto bettors are always reminded to be sharp-eyed: buy your lotto tickets from PCSO authorized outlets only.
3. Be extra careful with your lotto tickets. Remember: these are made from thermal paper which could easily fade when exposed to heat. Avoid folding your tickets and keep them safe, dry, and neat as possible. Winners are required to present their winning tickets for verification and validation purposes.
4. A winner has only one whole year valid time frame to claim his prize. Any unclaimed prizes beyond the given period will be forfeited.
Consolation prizes amounting from PHP 20 to PHP 10,000 are available for claiming at any authorized outlets or PCSO Branch Offices. On the other hand, prizes from PHP 10,001 to PHP 300,000 must be claimed at the PCSO Branch Office in your area or at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong.
