“As a result, collections and various offerings to our churches have also stopped. As members of the Church, we know that all the services and duties (of) our parishes and diocese require our continued contributions… Therefore, we must not forget and neglect this important and fundamental duty… Let us remind them to make regular offerings and contributions. Assign lay people to instruct and remind parishioners on how to send money through banks, money delivery, Cebuana, GCash, among others,” sabi ni Ponte.

Sa 7-pahinang protocol ni Manila Auxiliary Bishop at apostolic administrator of the Archdiocese of Manila Broderick Pabillo, sinabihan nito ang mga pari na ipaalala sa mga nagdodonasyon ang kawang-gawa ng simbahan para tugunan ang covid-19 pandemic.

“We expect our revenues to fall. People have no money and we have to do a lot of charitable work. Thus, let us minimize our expenses, especially our capital expenses,” ani Pabillo.

Alam niyo ba na sa ilang artikulo ng Mainstream media ay sinasabi na may P30 billion halaga ng stock ang Simbahan sa Bank of the Philippine Island?

“But here is what could be good news to the poorest of the poor among Catholics: The Catholic Church in the Philippines has so much to give if she would choose to sell her holdings in BPI. As of Friday, the value of the Church’s holdings in the bank came close to P32 billion, but it is not selling that,” sabi sa artikulo ng The Manila Times
